We take our responsibility for your children's online safety very seriously. Your child is not required to join this site to read the poems and other content, use the online rhyming dictionary, play the poetry and word games and use many other features of this website.

Children 13 and under are required to obtain parental permission before joining the Funny Poetry Fan Club. If your child signs up for the Fan Club, they will be able to post submissions to the forums with their "nickname." References to your child's full name, school, city, address, phone number, etc., will not be allowed in forum posts.

All information provided by members of the Funny Poetry Fan Club is confidential and will never be sold or shared with anyone else. We only require a name, nickname/username and a valid email address for membership. For more information, please read our Privacy Policy.

There are no chat rooms or instant messaging on this website. Members engaging in any inappropriate activity in the forums, including profanity, plagiarism, etc., will be warned once and banned for repeated inappropriate behavior.

The Contests, Forums, and Poetry Journals sections of the website is available only to members.
