In addition to my in-person author visits, I also "visit" hundreds of schools each year via the Internet, using Skype (or online videoconferencing software for schools that can't use Skype). Skype author visits are live, online, interactive videoconference presentations, that require only a PC or Mac with a broadband Internet connection.

Skype Programs

My Skype classroom visits are normally 45-minutes long, and typically include 15 minutes of presentation, 15 minutes of writing with your students, and 15 minutes of Q&A. In addition, I also have special programs available on the following topics:

• Rhyming (for primary grades)
• National Poetry Month
• Famous Children's Poets (Dr. Seuss, Shel Silverstein, Lewis Carroll, etc.)
• Poetic Forms (Acrostics, Diamantes, Haikus, Limericks, etc.)
• Writing 'Fractured' Nursery Rhymes
• Seasonal Poetry (Separate programs for Fall, Winter, Spring, and Summer)
• Getting your poetry published (for ages 13 and up)
